Patient discharge process

Starts when a doctor writes the discharge order and ends when the patient physically leaves the bed. Spans nursing acknowledgement, pharmacy medicine dispense, insurance pre-authorisation (for DME / SNF / specialty meds), transport, paperwork, and patient education.
